My Bad (Mea Culpa)

It is customary for authors, after acknowledging the support team, to own any omissions and errors. But I failed to do so. It is not because of   my commerce curriculum that brought me up in a caveat emptor ( buyer beware) environment. In fact had I followed what is taught in the commercial English I would have written E.O.E(Errors and Omission Exempt) at the end of every page thus giving me a right to come back at my customers anytime without guilt.

Quite a few of astute readers have pointed out a few lapses/omissions and my profound thanks to them.  It is time for me to say in simple words My Bad or if you want in a bit sophisticated language Mea Culpa.

I am Attempting to rectify in the online version

In this segment I am trying to address some of the lapses providing some additional titbits.

Cursive and cursory

In chapter six while writing about ball point pen I had mentioned it was not allowed to be used in cursory handwriting. An astute ( as against cursory) reader VR brought to my attention that the word I should have used was cursive and not cursory. Absolutely sir. Thank you.

Upon reflection I was wondering whether it was a Freudian slip as I had a  cursory interest  for my handwriting class or it was the curse of karma that  I did not have good handwriting.

Either way this helped me understand why I could not become another  Steve Jobs who had a passion for calligraphy and cursive writing. I also conjecture the astute reader must be artistic with a good handwriting.
